For the past few weeks, I’ve been a little out of touch with the world of teaching, and very in touch with the world of momming. (That’s a thing, right?) My twin baby girls arrived at the end of March, and I’ve been loving every moment of having them both home. See also: I’ve been very, very tired. Let’s just call this newborn phase “deliriously happy” with specific emphasis on both “delirious” and “happy.”
Before the babies came home, I nested. Hard. I love decorating, and Homegoods is basically my mother-ship, so it didn’t come as a surprise to me that designing a nursery was just about my favorite thing ever. Here is a peek at the room that once housed over-night guests (adios, guest room) and now hosts two tiny baby girls.

Decorating my girls’ nursery was definitely one of the best ways to prepare for them with little anxiety or stress. Designing a happy, calming space for them brought me so much joy – and I hope it continues to bring them joy as they grow!
